Top foods to keep you young
Ageing, pollution, stress and fatigue can all take a toll on our appearance. From wrinkles to under-eye circles and eye bags to spots, the effect of our lifestyles can display themselves on our faces before we even start to feel them. Maintaining a healthy and well-balanced diet is one approach, and the good news is that there are some foods that are thought to give you extra ammunition when it comes to combating the signs of ageing. By eating the right foods and paying attention to your diet, you can drastically improve your appearance. Here are the top foods for a natural facelift.
* Spinach
Spinac, like many other dark green vegetables,is rich in an antioxidant called lutein. Not only is this great for healthy eyes, but more recent research has shown that it is also good for preventing wrinkles by helping to retain the skin's moisture and elasticity, increasing lipid levels and preventing damage caused by free radicals.
The benefits of spinach do not stop there, however,as a leafy vegetable also has the power to reduce dark circles under eyes due to its high levels of vitamins k and c.
*Oysters
Besides being a well known aphrodisiac, oysters can also enhance your beauty. If you are suffering from pale, sallow skin or dark circle under your eyes, this may be due to vitamin B12 or iron deficiencies, both of which can cause anemia. To beat plasty skin, try boosting your intake of these essential nutrients by stocking up on oysters, which have high levels of both.
*Garlic
It may not be the most fragrant of foods, but garlic is a super food that can have great skin benefits. As a natural antibiotics with blood cleansing, immune boosting, antibactarial properties ,garlic is an effective, cheap and healthy way to help naturally treat acne.
While there are are many reasons people suffer from spots, garlic particularly when eaten raw and crushed-can help reduce future breakout, while its anti -ageing inflammatory properties can reduce the swelling and inflammation of acne.
*Avocados
Avocados often get bad press due to their high levels of fats, however the healthy fats contained in an avocado can actually do wonders for your skin. Packed with omega-3 fatty acids, avocados can help to moisturise your skin from the inside and increase collage production, helping to prevent wrinkles.
*Bananas
Many people know that fluid retention is the primary cause of belly bloating, but it can also be responsible for a puffy face and bags under the eyes. Fortunately, fluid retention can be treated through the diet by redressing the body's sodium potassium balance. As these two minerals work against each other to balance water in the body, too little potassium-or too much salt-is one of the most common causes of water retention. Redress this by increasing your intake of potassium through foods such as banana.
Other potassium rich foods include strawberries, melon and papa
*Green tea
There is no end to the benefits of this super drink;green tea boasts of a wealth of benefits that earns it the top spot in the anti-ageing food list. Green tea is believed to help regulate blood pressure, lower blood sugar, boost the immune system, lower cholesterol and studies have even shown that green tea can be effective at preventing cancer.
*Red wine
A glass of red wine adds up a good dose of anti-ageing elements including polyphenol antioxidant, minerals, and resveratrol which help to increase 'good cholesterol' levels in the body and prevent blood clothing as well as a healthy circulatory system. Resveratrol found in red wine may also be beneficial for women during menopause by reducing the risk for conditions like breast cancer and oesteoporosis resulting from reduced oestrogen levels.
*Water
Few people-whether active or not- drink sufficient water, and side effects of even slight dehydration include headaches, fatigue and low concentration levels. Yet increasing fluid intake can increase energy levels, aid digestion, give skin a boost and help boost your anti-ageing armour.

Strategies for feeling great everyday!
1. "Sleep: is the best cure for waking troubles".
Of all the assorted sounds your body makes, this is undisputably the one that is the most beneficial Z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z...
Sleep can feel so good that it can make you feel guilty doing it. How can anything this pleasurable not be fattening? Sleep is your starter button for the day. If you got your optimal number of hours of sleep, you'll awake refreshed and rested, and you'll be in a tiger mood.
When you're rested you feel that all things are possible.
2. Rise and shine:"Early to bed,early to rise,makes a man healthy,wealthy and wise".
There are some drinking establishments that advertise what they call "The Attitude Adjustment Hour". It comes at the end of the day, when your springs are uncoiled and you are ready to bounce off the walls.
But the time tp get those springs jumping is at the beginning of the day. The most important attitude adjustment occurs right on the edge of your bed in the morning,as you swing your legs unto the floor and prepare to greet the day.
How you approach your day at the very outset will pretty much dictate how your entire day will go. Attitude has a way of determining performance. If you are excited, you can make things exciting.
3.Exercise: There is this magic drug. You don't need a prescription for it. It will elevate your mood. It is legal. It is free. It will give you good glow of wellbeing, and there is no hangover.
It is called an endorphin. It is a chemical released by your brain while you are exercising. You have probably heard references to it. It is not however necessary to run a marathon to open your endorphin spirit.
Just move. Set your body in motion. You won't believe the returns. The cool thing about energy is that the more of it you expend, the more of it you have. Oxygen cleanse your brain, clears away the cobwebs. You suddenly become alert.
4.Volunteer: The good we do has a way of coming back to us. The first thing you notice when you give to others is a warm feeling that radiates quickly throughout you body. It is not unlike the effect of those endorphin discussed in the previous strategy.
You don't have to look far to find a cause. The greatest gift we can give another person is our time.
5.Have sex: Sex is both a release and a restored. It melts, relaxes, soothed.
The French like to think that if they didn't invent sex, they at least perfected it,and they have this saying:Marriages are made in heaven, but consummated on earth.
And if sex didn't have enough to recommend it all on its own merits, consider this:Each act burns,on average, one hundred calories.
6.Set Reachable Goals: "A goal is nothing more than a dream with a limit time"
Yes your grasp should exceed your present reach. But not by such a margin that you become discouraged and give up.
Ambition is wonderful, but your goals should be attainable so that you find working towards them a source of pleasure and not hopeless drudgery.
7.Prepare a To-do list:"A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow".
There's the list with all the tasks you have set for yourself. You feel organised and in-charge and you wade in. Just creating a to-do list gives you an enormous sense of accomplishment. Checking of task as you complete them...well,i get a shiver up and down my spine, just thinking about it.
